Slayyyter’s next chapter is already here even though she’s still riding high on the breakthrough wave of this year’s WOR$T GIRL IN AMERICA. The possible sonic swerves we may be encountering were already set in motion with that album’s epitaph “BRITTANY MURPHY”, and with the album’s forthcoming counterpart, wor$t man in america, on the way by year’s end, we’re hearing the rock star side of the electro-pop star rear her head head-bangingly harder on its first single “i think he’s got a girl”.

One thing is for sure — wherever Slayyyter goes, messiness is sure to follow, and in this relationship drama, her main character comes head on with the collision that her man has been sneaking around with another girl on the side. Enter the scorn of Slayyyter, who after walking through the listen’s opening slow-burning dream state hits us with all fire in the chorus. “Said she was from the past, the past is in your arms / And now I realize you were never mine.” It hurts to get burnt, but hell hath the burn of Slayyyter’s heartbreak fury.

Slayyyter’s wor$t man in america will be released December 4th on RECORDS / Capital Records.
