The definitive gothic post-punk era of AFI behind their listmaking effort, Silver Bleeds The Black Sun…, has brought with it some fantastically surreal visual accompaniments. Behind their recent announcement of an autumn tour that sees the veterans heathens taking along with them new class cherubs in Choir Boy for the trek, another one has made an unholy apparition for the track “Nooneunderground”. The listen itself is one of the more frenetically electric off their 12th studio album, and that flash-driven energy conveys a fever dream of occult influence, with it entwining classic black and white supernatural horror themes into a shadow-boxed performance in the music video directed by Jonah Bergman.
