Spiral XP – “Free Thinking”

“Free Thinking”, the second single from Spiral XP’s upcoming EP, It’s Been a While, reps the uncanny energy of the next wave of shoegazers that isn’t merely ripping on bleary guitar dynamos, and instead finds different paths between distorted effects and noise pop that manipulate matter through sound. The morose detours of frontman and guitarist Max Keyes seeing deep into oceans remains immersive in their dream texturizing, but the brain waves they ripple seem to reverberate only from Spiral XP’s subconscious.
