No Pressure are the speed punk answer to Parker Cameron’s much more well-known and crazy adored pop-punk band the Story So Far, and let me just tell you that as someone who has been to a couple of Sound and Furies, the hardcore kids absolutely love to pogo around the pit whenever he and his crew hit the stage. There will be plenty of that going on next year when No Pressure returns to action in full when they open for DRAIN during throughout their entire spring tour, and with the arrival of their 2026 LP promo, it’s safe to say we’ll finally be getting that follow-up to the band’s 2022 eponymous sophomore effort.
“Good Enough” and “Wearing Thin” offer up more than a jolt of anticipation before then. Clocking in at just under two minutes, the first of the two is one big crash out of relationship regrets with hooks intentionally too fast to grab onto, whereas its counterpart copes with the anxiety in more stealth chorus work. Admittedly, the Venn diagram between No Pressure and the Story So Far may be starting to get dangerously closer to full overlap on that one, but fuck it — if dealing with head-and-heart wreckage sounds like a blast it does here, it’s going to be a good new year either way.
No Pressure’s 2026 LP promo is available now on Triple B Records / Streets of Hate.
