Pull up for the day ones in your life. That’s what “Were You Were”, the latest preview from Restraining Order’s new album, Future Fortune, is all about. Don’t mistaken the Western Mass hardcore punk band’s sincerity for softness, however — the listen definitely doesn’t lack in the kind of tooth ‘n nail free-for-all aggression that has allowed them to fight their way out the underground scene and into a burning world at large. “I don’t know if I’m wrong or right / I just want you in my life!,” Pat Cozens shouts. This isn’t your typical love fest song, but if you’re with them, they’re going to bat for you hard.
