Yeah, you can and should listen to hardcore at any point in the year, but with summer officially popping off, it’s kind of like the opposite of winter where instead of seeking out a vitamin D fix, the raging heat makes it the peak season to be upping your levels of the heaviest vibrations through your skin even higher. End It are a good kickoff point for that. Following three highly promising EPs, the Baltimore crew is finally ready to arrive in full when their debut album, Wrong Side Of Heaven, blisters and barrels through anything in its path this August.

Lead single “Pale Horse” furthers the kind of no-brakes speed and hard-hitting intensity that we’ve come to get the biggest head rushes from out of the crew. Multiply the breakdowns here as vocalist Akil Godsey expounds on their heaviness by wrestling with an examination on life and death while offering some timely, necessary wisdom on the rules we should set for ourselves as to who we should answer to. “Live your life with no remorse / Karma on the back / Of the Pale White Horse / No love lost and a life / Less plagued,” he shouts. It gets your heart beating to full-on cardio levels, all the while ushering in the ultimate days to seize.
