GMO – “Double Headed Gemini”

Chaos is all the more reason to vibe in GMO’s world, and the universe sure as hell knows we could use these kind of wavelengths to steer us through the reality of it nowadays. This shouldn’t be much of a surprise — the Los Angeles DIY experimental electronic trio, featuring Jess Hutchison and former B Boys members Brendon Avalos and Sam Horn, recently manipulated the gravity that leads you down Dummy’s “Unshaped Road” — but in their own corner of the cosmos, their star sign signifies a completely zen factor formed from the astral projections of psychedelic pop, chilled-out trip-hop pulses, and buzzing space age synthesizers being drawn into a radiating groove. “Let’s come together,” Hutchinson aptly sings. It’s perhaps a very idealistic, utopian invitation to ask for a very positivity-depleted world, but if you let it flow through you, maybe the place inside of you is all you need to unlock’s GMO feel good energy into your own world.

GMO’s “Double Headed Gemini” single is available now.
