“When you’re all alone / All songs bring you back home.” That’s a fitting foreshadowing from terraplana and Winter on “hear a whisper’, the latest single from the former’s new album, natural. Their creative collaboration is a thing of much common ground, as both artists are of Brazilian descent (terraplana currently are based out of Curitiba) and just last year, terraplana recorded the single, “meus passos”, alongside the Brooklyn act, Shower Curtain — who are led by Winter’s sister, Victoria. That being said, the stars were fated for these two to cross paths on “hear a whisper”. Together, they haunt you in the air. “Hear a whisper / Under your breath / You won’t forget,” sings Winter. The listen moves with an ominous momentum, swirling delicately at first before turning into a centripetal windswept treachery. Everything feels faster, or is that just the inescapable pull of Winter and Stephani Heuczuk’s voices. “Into nothing / Watch your breath / Follow slowly into all the things you said.” From the same place, terraplana and Winter have found a kindred way to haunt you from the beyond.
