Show Me the Body have been in endless tour mode all year long, having recently jumped off opener duties for Knocked Loose’s epic summertime run alongside SPEED and Loathe, and now onto their own headlining trek that sees the experimental hardcore punks bringing an eccentric mix from the heavy underground alongside them in the likes of High Vis, Special Interest, BIB, and ZeeloperZ. Through it all, they’ve continued to create and lean into CORPUS’ collaborative community ethos, releasing this past July’s CORPUS II EP I featuring Zulu, B L A C K I E, King Yosef, Starker, and YL. Its second chapter is imminent as their tour kicks off. CORPUS II EP II touts Spellling, Regional Justice Center, Destiny, VCR, Corbin, and Nick Hakim as guests alongside aforementioned tourmates Special Interest, and on its first preview, “Stomach”, High Vis. That pairing of fire meets fire makes for a perfect compliment from opposite sides of the ocean. Julian Pratt mugs tough, toothy NYC grit through the band’s heat-bladed riffs and the presence of the London post-hardcore band’s vocalist Graham Sayles spits intestinal acid into anything standing between them. This is to say, it burns hard from the inside out.
