Spiritual Cramp feat. White Reaper – “Whatever You Say Man”

Spiritual Cramp and White Reaper have teamed up, and we ought to have heard this crash coming from a million miles away. Both bands are two of the best examples of new rock revivalism happening right now following last year’s respective standouts in the Louisville garage rockers’ Asking for a Ride and the San Fran proto-punks’ self-titled debut. Before hitting the road together this summer, they hit up the studio together, and as part of a forthcoming split 7″ single, we’re hearing the Venn diagram bleed into one another in adrenaline and amperage form on the Spiritual Cramp-steered “Whatever You Say Man”. There’s nothing too deep to digest about this one, as it feeds off bad energy after getting up on the wrong side of the bed, with Spiritual Cramp vocalist Mike Bingham and White Reaper’s Tony Esposito trading off barbs in telling death to piss off for another day. Their mania goes matched in one another’s presence, and it could go on and on until the end of time if they wanted it to. As if they care…

Spiritual Cramp / White Reaper split 7″ will be released May 16th on Blue Grape Music.
