PUREST FORM – “BROKE”

“BROKE” is a song about being terrified of AI coming at us at an increasingly accelerated pace pushed back on with equal sonic measure. Born from the creative psyches of vocalist Story Beeson of the bands Choking on Ash and Vacant Future, guitarist and programmer Madison Woodward of Fury and Object of Affection, and bassist Riley Joyner of Roman Candles and Pocketknife, the Los Angeles neo-industrial trio combat technology at its worst impulses with the severity of metal reinforcing the pit and a heavy electrical charge that gets bodies moving against the threat. “Another body to replace / Artificial human race / Manufactured intellectual disgrace / Reality’s aftertaste,” Beeson’s vocals scourge over a war anthem for the club floor. If this dystopic future is coming for us all, then it’ll have to literally be over all of our dead bodies first.

PUREST FORM’s PUREST FORM will be released March 7th.
