SPACED – “Landslide”

Buffalo’s SPACED have been making enough noise in the hardcore underground with their expanded world view on the sound over the past few years through a string of demos, singles, and their 2022 comp, SPACED JAMS, to warrant an advanced warning as to what’s to come. The time has come to put up, and they’ll do just that when their debut LP, This Is All We Ever Get, get released by the venerable Revelation Records this spring. Lead single “Landslide” doesn’t mess around, though we know SPACED can get weird if they’d want to. “Don’t let me catch you on the wrong side / Running from the truth onto a landmine / Make one mistake it doesn’t matter how high / The worst is coming for you and I’ll get mine,” Lexi Reyngoudt shouts. Behind her, guitarists Joe Morganti and Donny Arthur, bassist John Vaughan, and drummer Dan McCormick ensure that message crashes correctly with just enough bounce to every bang. A no-frills pit pile-on with righteous rage to formally kick down the door of your arrival will always over-deliver.
