Sometimes, it’s beyond your own control in a way where the golden years — “the Jesus phase”, as True Green songwriter Dan Horns puts it – just slip on by without really leaving any substantial marks on your timeline. “My Lost Decade”, the title track and lead single from the Minneapolis-based songwriter’s debut album, accounts for going through the motions under life’s radar where his novelist songwriting style narrates all of the events that sound like they’re doing something but ultimately add up to nothing in a chillout zone of laid-back bedroom pop.
