But perhaps she’s known that all along. In referencing online behavior as an art form, the listen’s caffeine house beat flutter and effervescent aura captures the emotion of feeling a moment at its most, and wondering what it will be like if it’s ever gone. “I’m obsessed with the idea that one day that it breaks up,” she sings. “‘Cause after that I know I’ll never be as capable of love after you.” For now, it’s best to appreciate met expectations before they potentially shatter.
