Across astrological corners of our universe, Gemenis are known to be flexible and excitable characters, but also impulsive shape-shifters. It’s never a dull moment to be in their presence, but spontaneity is also not without its share of friction. Take this into account fully when listening to “Gemini Moods (Return)”, the lead single from SPLLIT’s sophomore effort, Infinite Hatch. The Baton Rouge duo of Urq and Marance are not your typical post-punk blend, with their wireframe of guitars, groove and MIDI defying straight lines indulgently. It’s an embrace of those internal glitches that make a person all the more peculiar. In a very good way, of course, even if their edges are a little more sharper than others.
