When playing live, one must wonder: do Corker literally set themselves on fire and let the music rip as they immolate for our entertainment? As with “Edge of Teeth”, an early highlight from the Cincinnati post-punk band’s upcoming debut full-length, Falser Truths, they’re hell-bent on tearing up s path of destruction by any measure on its latest incineration, “Molotov”, just as well. Vocalist and guitarist shouts verse and chorus as if to indulge in the twisted joy in commandeering pyromania unto everything around he and the band, but through the flames, the five-piece also don’t lose their composure in banging out seriously sharp dance-punk moves even when the five alarm sound of brass disrupts the rhythm. Apply some heat, and watch the bodies move…
