ENTRY – “Exit Interview”

Shit sucks out there, whether it be contending with a society that only wants to benefit a few privileged folk, capitalism bogging you down from being able to actually enjoy the short amount of life you get before you expire, and the gradual disconnect we’ve got with one another as our surrounding connections become more self-centered and superficial. If you’ve had enough of this world and its ways, then “Exit Interview” is your out. As the title track from ENTRY’s forthcoming EP, the Los Angeles band – led by the extreme vocals of Sara Gregory alongside Touché Amoré guitarist Clayton Stevens as well as bassist Sean Sakamoto and drummer Chris Dwyer – rips right up where they left the earth burning on their highly promising 2020 debut full-length, Detriment. It’s kind of hard to tell exactly what Gregory’s vitriol says through the shrill, racing murk, but being pissed off is enough to convey it while the rest of the band does its most in pouring gasoline all over the floor around her to further ignite the fact that this life ain’t it, so maybe let’s start over from scratch, and take the top percent out of the equation while we’re at it.

ENTRY’s Exit Interview will be released May 26th on Convulse Records.
