If there is another life after this one, then Temples of Angels’ (as well as Crushed co-vocalist) Bre Morell has already tapped into it with her dreams. Born out of the throes of loss and the signals from beyond our subconscious sends us when we’re asleep, “Tangled In Joy”, the lead single from the band’s forthcoming Run for Cover Records debut, Endless Pursuit, isn’t your typical love song as refracted through the shimmering spells of dreamy guitar-pop in the romantic sense, but rather an energy captured at its most pure form in that which makes any bond between two souls eternal. “Take me out into the night / And let me stare into those eyes that I swear I saw in a dream before,” her voice soars through dimensions not yet detectible to our own science. “Our love is not bound by time / I’ll find you in the next life / But I’m here by your side until then.” If not here in the now, then at least when she closes her eyes next…
