There is no concrete or scientific evidence of the existence of a heaven, and that can be a terrifying realization for anyone who was raised to believe that something better awaits all of us on the other side of this. Fortunately, Ivana Carrescia, b.n.a. ISOLA, will make you a believer in it regardless – or at least comes close to turning it into a reality just as she does in the five minutes and 25 seconds throughout “Heaven”, the second preview from the ambient techno artist’s upcoming debut full-length, LP1. The listen is a final destination between star-crossed lovers built around flittering minimalist house production helmed by producer Nick Sylvester where new light energy and the very stardust which lives in all of us oscillates in, out and around Carrescia’s vapored panoramic presence. “I’ll see you in heaven by the seaside / Like you said.” The sensation of being there is all around you. Even if heaven really is just a concept that lives in one’s mind, ISOLA creates a really close version of it.
