Braid – “Killing A Camera”

It’s a big year for a certain kind of emo-indebted indie rock. On one hand, you’ve got the Van Pelt returning with their first new music in 26 years. On the other, you’ve now got Braid making their way back to the stage in live form to revisit their scene classic, Frame & Canvas, for its 25 year anniversary, a remixed and remastered reissue version by Jawbox’s J. Robbins in tow. “Killing A Camera” isn’t a new song per se, but it does unearth some newfound visuals from their 2004 doc of the same name, and here’s hoping it leaves a lasting image with a new generation hearing it for the first time…
