Militarie Gun are big fans of Public Opinion, and it’s easy to hear why. The Denver hardcore-punk quartet just dropped a new single featuring the tracks “Heaven Sent” on its A-side and “Dry Clean Only” on its flip, and both are bangers that join the fracas of bands on the rise bringing a big knack for hooks while restylizing the fringes of the scene in their own energy. In this case, it’s a polished yet buzzsawed edge of garage-rattled rock that makes perpetually shouting vocalist Kevin Hart’s lifestyles critiques and paradise aspirations tower over the moment. Also fun: dazy’s James Goodson contributes vocals in the back. If this is heaven, it’s a fine damnation of company, for sure…
