Imagine “Swing (In A Dream)” as being a premonition of Squid’s next realization as a band whereas the experimental post-punk outfit grows new limbs out of an already kinetic, fast-changing cacophony. Percussive fits and sputtering synths hasten their pace over a shifting canvas, though the British quintet of Louis Borlase, Ollie Judge, Arthur Leadbetter, Laurie Nankivell, and Anton Pearson are just as steadfast, siphoning each in spite of their bold intricate patterns wanting to explode from out of its frame.
