Where Tanukichan is coming from on “Take Care” is a low point, through the dreamy guitar-pop songwriter inherently makes music that feels undeniably welcome even in its self-imposed isolation. “If I had my way I’d see you every day / Except for when I’m feeling down / And I don’t want to bring you down with me,” she sings. Maybe the clouds aren’t breaking right then and there, but there’s a silver lining in there somewhere sitting right beneath the surface.
