You can hear the heartbeats beating in “Kandy”, the latest preview from Fever Ray’s forthcoming third studio album, Radical Romantics, but you can also feel it rise the further Karin Dreijer tempts the senses. “She laid me down and whispered/ All girls want kandy / Can you bring me back? / All girls want kandy,” they sing over a seductive percussive beat and synthetic chamber co-designed by their brother and former Knife cohort Olof Dreijer. The taste of slow sweat dripping is sweet and unavoidable.
