“Six-Pack” is gluttony in its most admonished form. The latest preview from shame’s third studio effort, Food for Worms, is another commentary on lives lived in false realities – In this case, Charlie Steen granted even the lowliest character permission to go wild in their entitled indulgences. “The outside world is large and it’s filled with empty beds / Resort to your delusions and live within your head,” he shouts over a fucked up form of psychedelia and punk tattering. Tear down the truth, and exist in whatever lies let your ego sleep at night.
