DEBBY FRIDAY – “SO HARD TO TELL”

DEBBY FRIDAY has been mediating that alluring space between experimental electronic music, pop, hip-hop and R&B across two promising EPs in 2018′s Bitchpunk and 2019′s Death Drive, various singles, scores and mixtapes which have ultimately landed the Canadian-by-way-of-Nigeria artist to a greater platform to showcase her spells with Sub Pop for the release of her debut full-length, GOOD LUCK, due out in March. “SO HARD TO TELL”, its first single, lies somewhere between a late night, neon-lit banger and a transfixing comedown from the party. “When the sun go down / The big girls, they do not cry / Danger, danger / Can’t you see for yourself?” The magic of the self, as it would seem, can only be seen if you believe in it, too.

DEBBY FRIDAY’s GOOD LUCK will be released March 24th on Sub Pop.
