“Familia Finito”, the latest preview from Flatspot Records’ upcoming The Extermination: Vol. 4 comp, is a welcome wagon for one of the label’s quickest rising hardcore bands in self-professed Baltimore hate crew, End It. Coming off of last year’s breakout EP, Unpleasant Living, the latest listen from the five-piece is an invitational battle royale of thrash with more than a few ounces of melody that results in the kind of fast but fun energy that instantly turns any pit into a bouncehouse of bodies. “For everything there is a season so, ‘Familia Finito’ is about not letting traditions guide our tomorrows.” says vocalist Aki Godsey. That’s one way to continue breaking barriers in the expanding hardcore multiverse.
