Timeless or effortlessly cruising through time? That’s the question “Fog Machine”, the second single from White Reaper’s forthcoming fourth album, Asking for a Ride, presents as its bigger question for a track that beams fun rockin’. The listen glides through a mix of pristine power-pop, a punk-pop racing speed, and a guitar-shredding classic rock cool that vaporizes appropriately through the Louisville band’s electricity. “When my phone rings / I can’t wait to hear what you say,” goes its chorus. You wouldn’t guess these dudes are breaking any sweats with how easily they’re making it all look.
