The HIRS Collective –- the enigmatic hardcore community and driving force behind Get Better Records –- refuse to remain silent, appropriately, in spite of where America is headed with all of the -phobias conservative trash champion. Their identities will not be erased, and they’ve got many, mnay friends in high places helping elevate their voices to ensure this doesn’t happen. “We’re Still Here” is a screaming anthem leading the charge into the Collective’s new guest-heavy album of the same name, and joining them on this blast of structural deconstruction is Garbage’s Shirley Manson doing a very doom-forthcoming performance. “We’re not stopping / We’ll never quit,” the track growls at one point. And this is just the beginning of it…
