Miss Grit is the moniker of New York City-based multi-disciplinary artist Margaret Sohn, and created their musical outlet as a means “for their own analysis and expression of self.” “Like You”, their first single since last year’s promising second EP, Imposter, and first for new label home, Mute Records, furthers Sohn’s journey in sculpting sound around meticulous, reflective observation. “Bore new, everything is see-through / Confused, they might see they’re like you,” their voice synergizes itself through amperage and budding basslines upon exploring the other side: A cascade of illuminating effects tapped into their self-actualization that again widens the door for where they are going.
