Jobber – “Hell In A Call”

“Ready for hell week / Will somebody kill me off?,” sourly requests Kate Meizner on “Hell In A Cell”, the latest single and title track off the indie grunge grapplers forthcoming debut EP. While it may be named after the most diabolical structure in pro-wrestling history, sometimes the Hell In A Cell we find ourselves in life has no chain-linked walls and is merely of the making of our own existential dread on this plane. The pace of this rocker isn’t so much all-out blood and violence in the vain of Shawn Michaels vs. Undertaker or Undertaker vs. Mankind, but that’s kind of the point: It’s a slow death. Having to get up to face the day as it whispers in your ear, “That’s gotta be Kane…” may as well be the equivalent of throwing yourself off a 20 ft. caged enclosure, crashing into the announce table, and wondering if you’re dead.

Director: Steve Marrucci

Jobber’s Hell In A Cell will be released October 21st on Exploding In Sound Records.
