“In the Moment”, the second single from Regulate’s self-titled debut full-length, is further evidence of why the rising melodic hardcore are real ones. “There’s something to be said / About the difference between us / You look for photo ops / We make sure days don’t stop,” hurls vocalist Sebastian Paba over a synergy of static grind and melodic sleekness before the anthem echoes in clean energy. “When we’re in the moment / We touch experience you can’t fake.” This is a feeling of high in the purest clarity in spite of our everyday white noise distraction.
