Whispered and rippling, her voice hits like a perfectly-formed teardrop onto a plush pillowcase, with the dream that follows being an entrancing read on our current bedroom pop temperature, somewhere between fading into yesteryear’s Mazzy Star blueprints and beabadoobee’s lucid clarity, making it easy to hear how anyone could get caught up in this kind of destructive wishful thinking when it sounds this good.
