During the pandemic, Peter Gill lightened up the isolation doldrums with Hit-to-Hit, a 24-track debut full-length from his power-pop vehicle 2nd Grade. The Philly-based musician and his band will be back on September 30th with the release of its proper follow-up, the parred down 16-song sophomore effort, Easy Listening, and it’s living up to its titular vibes on its lead single “Strung Out On You”. The sounds of the ‘70s and Big Star influence lives on the surface, but so is Gill’s own way of telling on the heart in every word along the way.
