“I wish I could say / Something sane to wash away / And annihilate the trauma that we save / It might just take just one / Reason inside to carry on / Or something sharp to cut these trauma bonds,” sings Gordan Sayle on “Trauma Bonds”, the emotional centerpiece of High Vis’ forthcoming sophomore effort, Blending. The narrative wears its weight well around the vocalist for the rising London post-punk band’s polished duality between hardcore edges and Brit-based indie-pop wear the razor-sharp shouts and the glinting guitars meet somewhere in the middle between darkness and light. From personal tragedy, it reaches a hand out for those who are left behind.

High Vis’ Blending will be released September 9th on Dais Records.
