Your favorite hardcore-adjacent band’s favorite publicist James Goodson is making it real with his blissed out power-pop project dazy. After releasing an all-encompassing comp of all his work to date with The Crowded Mind EP, the Richmond-based rocker has signed with Lame-O Records and announced the news with two singles “Rollercoaster Ride” and “Peel”. Refining his pallette, the former gives some real Fountains of Wayne sun beaming while the latter swerves into the tremolo of psychedelic shoegaze-pop waves. He’ll also be opening up with recent collaborators Militarie Gun as well as MSPAINT this fall, so I guess you could say dazy’s “Rollercoaster Ride” is on its way up…
