“Go On”, the lead single from Panda Bear and Peter “Sonic Boom” Kember’s upcoming collaborative album, Reset, could likewise be heard as a restart on their longstanding collaborative relationship. Built around a sample of the the Troggs’ 1967 retro rock deep cut “Give It To Me” and inspo by Kember’s vintage record collection, the pair of nautical art-pop wonders reshape the most fundamental elements in their respective styles in a way that inspires the same crests and sunlight through pop’s earliest minimalist corners. You could float on this weird wave forever…
