“Humilty’s Disease” is the second preview from Castle In the Sky, the debut album by former Ava Luna vocalist Becca Kauffman’s performance art and music spectacle known as Jennifer Vanilla. Designed around a pressure point trickle and racing heartbeat production, what goes on inside their head is a pop anxiety rush smattered across the soundboard and visual canvas. Kauffman may be playing the part of a Devil’s advocate to the part of the brain working with its most toxic traits feeding in self-hate, but consider it an exorcism through reverse psychology and their bonkers art.
