“Fireworks” is an apt title for the latest preview off Healing Potpourri’s fourth studio effort Paradise, but not because the sound explodes loud and audibly in the way you might imagine. It’s more a color burst amid the cosmos with Simi Sohota and his patchouli-laced indie pop projections onto love – Forces as great as the light those feelings emit. “Can’t stop laughing, bolt of lightning / Brightens up your smile,” he sings, with the listen becoming a psychedelic display that brings stars to your eyes, too.
