With “Cowboy Bepop”, the second single from Enumclaw’s highly anticipated debut full-length Save the Baby, Aramis Johnson takes a long look at the grass that’s greener on the other side and decides it’d be better to piss on it. That the Tacoma indie rockers don’t seem to be letting any ego into their view on their way up only emboldens their natural cool, which hear delivers itself with an air of effortless in spite of its wide-eyed gaze. These riffs could encircle and swallow the sky whole, but instead Enumclaw admires the view from right where they are.
