There isn’t anything really sappy about “i’m not crying, you’re crying”, the latest single from Pinkshift’s long anticipated and just-announced debut album Love Me Forever. This is pure panicked seething in reactionary form from the Baltimore punk trio. Here, vocalist Ashrita Kumar checks in on the intents of those claiming to check in on her, and alongside the unbridled riff rage path set by guitarist Paul Vallejo and drummer Myron Houngbedji, nothing stands in her way of sussing out those seeing her at her worst and smashing any and all fake apologies out of view to clear her eyes.

Pinkshift’s Love Me Forever will be released October 21st on Hopeless Records.
