“Sugar/Tzu” is another level of experimental heat coming your way from black midi’s new album Hellfire before its arrival this Friday. Everything preceding the listen in the form of early previews “Welcome to Hell” and “Eat Men Eat” have been wild and uncontainable, and while the final preview has theatrical moments of horn-blaring combustibility interlocking its riffs, there’s an intricate dance in each flame’s movement. Attest that to Geordie Greep chronicling a championship boxing match throughout the listen between two 600 lbs. behemoths in the year 2163, or rather, a long-winded way of delivering another knockout experience from the London art rock freaks.
