If you’re feeling like everything falls through the second you finally get a grasp on it all, “Loose Ends” feels you. The lead single from Stand Still’s In A Moment’s Notice, the Long Island melodic hardcore band’s second EP and follow up to last year’s promising Practice and Patience EP, puts mixed up emotions into a form of clarity with the band’s roughed-up-and-still-breathing approach to making the most posi out of shit luck life situations. Even if you don’t want to scrape too deep reflectively into it, chalk it up to vocalist Gerry Windus, guitarists Bryan Natole and Stephen Hallam, bassist Mat Rienecker, and drummer Andre Valerio’s ability to bat off anxieties before they can hit you.
