“Attachment Theory” is the sound of the body attempting to exorcise itself away from the increasingly suffocating constraints of technology and a society crushing our lives, while the everyday existential of merely trying to breathe in it once free makes you ponder which the worse of the two fates actually is. As the second preview from Philly post-hardcore band Sonagi’s debut full-length Precedent, vocalist Ryann Slauson, guitarist Harim Jung, bassist Michael Englisis, and drummer Keean Mansour paint an attempt to escape as futile, unless you count the bestial burden devouring its end.
