“You’ve left us now / Are you finally home?,” asks Narrow Head vocalist Jacob Duarte on the band’s new single “T.I.M.E.”. After breaking the law of gravity with their 2020 sophomore standout 12 House Rock, the Houston-based five-piece isn’t looking like they’re ready to touch back down to Earth with their hard, heavy sound, smashing sonic barriers in a blaster of shoegaze and grunge particles. Even if the path channels clarity, getting lost in space is preferable.
