Camae Ayawa has been mighty busy over the last month, between delivering unto us a creative holy trinity with her latest album from the experimental avant-rap-pop project 700 Bliss alongside DJ Haram, news of the brand new Moor Mother album Jazz Codes coming at July’s start, and below, two new jazz phreakouts with her other collective Irreversible Entanglements. They’re part of Sub Pop’s Singles Club Vol. 7, with “Down to Earth” ironically inhabiting a levitating experience from start to finish while “All You Can Do Is All You Can Do” hearing the collective venturing their earthly existentialism further out into the cosmos with its big brass and percussive bangs colliding against space-ripped synths.
Irreversible Entanglement’s “Down to Earth” b/w “All You Can Do Is All You Can Do” is available now on Sub Pop.
